Lewis S. Blevins Jr., M.D., is a professor of medicine and neurological surgery at University of California, San Francisco. He is the medical director of the California Center for Pituitary Disorders at the University of California San Francisco and is a co-founder of Pituitary World News. He has authored and edited several books on topics including acromegaly, Cushing's syndrome, The Art of Neuroendocrinology, pituitary tumors, and hypopituitarism. He has also published a travelogue regarding his experiences in Ireland and is currently writing a science fiction novel.
