Lacrisha Holcomb was born in upstate New York and was mostly raised in Wilmington, North Carolina. Reading and writing have always been her first loves and favorite pastimes. She received her bachelor of arts degree in English with a minor in sociology from Howard University, and the sophisticated ratchet hippie thug scholar is currently working on her master's degree in clinical mental health counseling at North Carolina Central University. Lacrisha aspires to combine her passions by specializing in narrative therapy. She hopes to empower clients through the use of creative writing interventions in her future work as a therapist and licensed clinical addictions specialist. Also a devotedly avid Harry Potter enthusiast, the adventurous penwoman is now embarking on the magical journey of writing her first novel. This is her first published work and, hopefully, the first of many works to come!
