Non Surgical endodontic treatment consists of 3 steps: Access cavity preparation, Shaping and Cleaning, and Obturation. Obtaining correct working length is crucial for the success of endodontic treatment. There are various methods to determine working length which includes Radiographic Method and Non Radiographic method. Certain professionals are also recommending CBCT for working length determination. There are challenges in working length determination such as resorptive process which will alter the anatomy, presence of anatomic structure which will impede the visualization of root outline or the apex. In such scenario, other methods have to be adopted such as use of CBCT, Magnification or surgical method. The aim of this book is to present case report where there is difficulty in determining working length due to the presence of impacted canine and requires surgical method to complete endodontic treatment.
