Autorenporträt
Faraji has always had a passion for Speaking and writing. He began using poetry as an outlet at an early age, contributing poems to Peshine avenue elementary schools newsletters. In later years, while in the united states Navy, that passion has lead Faraji to be recruited to summarize books in writing and on audio devices for Chilean military officers, studying the English language, while on a Unitas 1996 deployment in south America. Faraji has been labeled a writer and speaker with an extreme conscious above all else by both fans and critic and by no means an average poet after performing spoken word at the underground poets jam in Burmingham, London, Which was a comically direct attack on what he states as the cookie cutter poets of the 21st century. Having an early showing in the poetry / spoken word circuit, Faraji Toure' has progressed to writing straight edged and very direct, and most times comically consciously opinionated articles for multiple online and paper publications such as Afro-punk.com, sole magazine and sonic eclectic magazine to name just a few. Faraji notes his true calling is being a testament and an advocate for the world on our daily conflict with ourselves, and our struggle to get and remain consciously free. Today most of his writing and speaking engagements are morally and spiritually based coupled with common sense steps to free our minds. Faraji's writings and coaching, although very personally opinionated, are based in his strong beliefs in the higher mind, and higher consciousness of mankind. And this fact is how he judges himself, life and the world in general.
