He's stuck right in the middle until a giraffe comes upon his way! Dichotomous Hippopotamus, this hippo split in two - he could be just like me, but he might be more like YOU!

Raised by her single elderly father in the bogan town of Bundaberg, Queensland, Prema was a restless child; wild and curly like her hair. Prema could never sit still for long and couldn't seem to behave at school. When she discovered an old typewriter at 9 years old, she found a way to channel her imagination and frustrated self-expression into long fantastic stories and dreamed of one day publishing books for real. Amidst many adventures and long years of wandering and wondering, Prema studied art therapy, process-oriented psychology, group facilitation and is now completing her masters degree in Conflict Resolution and Management. She worked as a group facilitator in both Thailand and Australia, facilitating courses in intentional community design. She has a keen interest in permaculture, yoga, and has lived in over a dozen different intentional communities around the world - exploring alternative models of community and lifestyle. Prema's favourite things are dancing, gardening and helping people to heal through understanding themselves and each other. Dichotomous Hippopotamus and the Half-and-Half Giraffe is the first book Prema has published, and intends that it will be the first of many in a series of fun stories that reflect aspects of our inner world. Look out for Prema's next book, "The Irrelevant Elephant and the Horse of Remorse"!
