Bournemouth and Weymouth F.C.. He played for Weymouth up until his death in 1967, when he died in an accident at a builders yard. He was also part of the great Northern Ireland team that played in the 1958 FIFA World Cup. He made 23 appearances for his country, and also won the Irish Player of the Year 1954 and the Irish Cup in 1953.
