Pride can affect the family from generation to generation, but through the power of confession, forgiveness, love, through the power of the Blood of Jesus will restoration manifest. The effects of the fall in the Garden reached well beyond the man and the woman. The authors look beyond the Garden and discuss how pride affects mankind, the Body of Christ, and families today. Can we see deliverance from pride? Psalm 34:19 declares to us, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivered him out of them ALL. By trusting in Christ we can be delivered.

Autorenporträt
On a cold day, November 3, 1953, in a small town in Ellaville, GA that is not on the map, I, Martha Marigna, was born to Rosa May Jackson and Willie Lee Tiger (deceased). My mother and I moved to Orlando, FL when I was two years old. At the age of nine years old, I realized and had my personal experience with God. Praying to God, looking up at the moon and He would answer my prayers. I was very active in church. I ushered on the Junior Usher board, a Junior Sunday School secretary, member of the Youth Choir, and was a member of the Junior Devotion Leader Team! I am the oldest of eleven children. I graduated from Jones High School in 1971 in Orlando, FL. After graduation, I completed a child care program at Valencia Community College. I got married on March 6, 1989, and with that union, four daughters, and a son was born. I was a single parent with four children before this union. I am the proud "nana" to fourteen smart and beautiful grandchildren. I have successfully completed Biblical training in Evangelism and Ministry Training and have received certifications in Understanding Music and Worship and Exploring the New and Old Testament. In 2009, I was ordained Elder under the awesome leadership of Bishop-elect Anthony Gardner and Pastor-elect Monica Gardner at Life Giving Word Family Worship Center in Burlington, NJ. From the years of 1984 - 1997, under the leadership of the late Apostle R.L. Williams, I was ordained the Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I served them in many capacities. Such as, Praise and Worship, Sunday school teacher, member of the choir and in the Outreach Ministry. Founder of Dawning of a New Day Ministry that I call "Mailbox Ministry," newsletters of testimonies, the taught Word, encouragements to women all over the world so that they may be empowered, healed, delivered and set free emotionally, physically, and spiritually; we are survivors. I am a twenty-four-year breast cancer survivor. After God's healing of cancer, I had two more children (that's another book).
