Her passion for helping kids reach their potential stems from parenting two amazing kids who faced some very special learning challenges. A member of the International Dyslexia Association and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, she lives in Virginia with her husband, son, daughter, and Dusty the dog.
