Joe Sledge worked as a Special Education teacher for nine years before beginning his writing career with Did You See That? A GPS Guide to North Carolina's Out of the Ordinary Attractions. He developed a love for travel and exploring while at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Joe has traveled both his home state and across the country to see the strange and weird, and to experience all he can find. He is married, with one daughter, and his family loves to travel as well.
