The theoretical-methodological foundations are presented, which together with the results of the empirical research carried out, made possible the elaboration and implementation of a didactic conception for the teaching-learning process of the subject. The didactic conception is characterized by establishing the link between the History of Angola and local history and its interdisciplinarity with Anthropology, which contributes to the teaching-learning process at the Higher Institute of Social Service. The didactic conception was submitted to the criteria of specialists and was put into practice through a pre-experiment with positive results in its application.

Mac-Mahon Nicola Fonseca is Historian. Doctor in Pedagogical Sciences, by the University of Pedagogical Sciences "Enrique José Varona" (Havana, Cuba). Professor of the Faculty of Social Service of the University of Luanda (UL), he teaches the subjects of History of Angola and Social and Cultural Anthropology in the Faculty of Social Service of UL.
