This study has indicated that pregnant women acknowledge information about living a healthy life during pregnancy and they also acknowledge the effects of smoking and drinking on pregnancy and foetus but are unable to desist from the act.

Veronica Olufunmilayo Agberotimi was born in Nigeria, awarded Bachelor Art (Honours) in Social Science. She relocated to Dublin Ireland and works as a Medical Secretary and is also currently studying Master of Arts Child, Youth and Family Studies. She work as a Youth Leader and family support worker. She is married with three children.
