The work describes author's struggle with creating a software model of a real instrument that is on route to visit the 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko comet. Born in 1985 he studied Astronomy at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna , Poland. He later on moved to Umeå University in Sweden where he began his master thesis and finished it at the Swedish Institute of Space Physics in Kiruna. He is now a PhD student at the Astronomical Observatory of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna .
