Autorenporträt
Dr. Maria Cleary is President and CEO of Readeezy LLC. She is currently developing a digital literacy resource for learning disabled teens and young adults. She is an experienced school superintendent, principal, and teacher and has taught on the elementary through post-graduate levels. Dr. Cleary's edtech entrepreneurship also includes The Learning Project, where she was President/CEO and produced "Enter McNine," a ground-breaking sitcom teaching writing skills to middle school students. She also founded Angelvision, Inc., creating a TV platform for character education programming.In addition, she wrote and produced award-winning programs for WNBC-TV, Connecticut Public Broadcasting, Cablevision of Connecticut, the Archdiocese of NY, and a variety of Fortune 500 companies, receiving numerous grants in support of educational television efforts. Her higher education experience includes teaching at Montclair State University, Seton Hall University, Boston College, and New Jersey City University.Dr. Cleary's writing has been featured in professional journals, including the New York Academy for Public Education Journal, Principal magazine, EP News Magazine and RTJ for Twenty-Third Publications.
