Joni Turville is an award winning teacher and brings energy and expertise to both her presentations and instructional practice, which also includes working as a technology consultant, administrator, and university instructor. She has written numerous articles and books, focusing on effective instructional strategies, differentiated instruction, and technology. Joni is also passionate about professional development and has developed many train-the-trainer programs, as well as done significant work in using technology for professional development. She lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and is a popular local, national, and international presenter., Linda G. Allen is an educational specialist, speaker, and writer. She works with both general education and special education teachers from kindergarten through high school, and provides training for substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents. Her long-time interest in brain-compatible research has provided opportunities to extend her knowledge of brain-compatible strategies, of building communities of learners, and of teaching students with special needs.
