The study investigates difficulties facing English Language teachers at Jordanian universities and their effects on their performance sample of the study is 150 teachers from fifteen governmental and private Jordanians' universities which were chosen randomly from 20 universities. The researcher used means, standard deviations the results of the study shows English Language teachers are facing difficulties with the administration English Language teachers are facing difficulties with career development. English Language teachers are facing difficulties with colleagues in the department English Language teachers are facing difficulties with curriculum. English Language teachers are facing difficulties work environment.
