Autorenporträt
Prof. Dr. Michael Burmester, Dipl.-Psych., bis Ende 1996 als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Fraunhofer-Institut für Arbeitswirtschaft und Organisation (IAO) in Stuttgart, danach im Fachzentrum User Interface Design der Siemens AG München. Von 2000 bis 2002 leitete er den Bereich Usability-Engineering und die Geschäftsstelle München der User Interface Design GmbH und übernahm anschließend die Professur für Ergonomie und Usability im Studiengang Informationsdesign an der Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart. Dort leitet er das Usability Labor und die Forschungsgruppe Usability and User Experience Research. Forschungsgebiete: Usability Engineering Methoden, Human-Robot Interaction, interaktive Informationsgrafiken, User Experience.
