Mara Nieto Hernández ha una laurea in Pedagogia presso l'UNAM e un Master in Educazione con focus sull'Educazione Online presso l'UVEG, Blanca Delia De la Rosa Vergara ha una laurea in Pedagogia presso l'UNAM. Dal 2018, entrambi gli autori lavorano insieme su ricerche e interventi relativi al superamento del digital divide.
