Claire Mercer has an academic work focus with several research interests. She joined the University of Salford in 2015 and is currently the Head of Radiography in the School of Health and Society at the University of Salford, UK. A radiographer by background, specialising in mammography she has 10 years' experience in NHS management, with an MSc in Advanced Medical Imaging and a PhD by published works in mammography, Claire is passionate about workforce and research development across her field. Her focused research interests lie within breast imaging, particularly around quality metrics such as compression force and positioning technique. Claire is passionate about workforce development across Medical Imaging. Judith Kelly worked in Breast Imaging as a Consultant Radiographer for 15 years and undertook all aspects of breast imaging interpretation and interventional work. Currently, she is the clinical lead for breast imaging at a local hospital trust in the UK. She is also currently a  member of the Advisory Committee on Breast Cancer Screening to the Department of Health. Peter Hogg holds professional qualifications in Diagnostic Radiography, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Protection. He also holds computer science and teaching qualifications. He became a Professor of Radiography in 2002 at the University of Salford and held a range of senior academic positions there, including Research Dean. He holds several Visiting and Honorary academic positions around the world, including Visiting Professorship (Chair) in the Netherlands. He is currently an Emeritus Professor at the University of Salford, UK.
