Pradip Ninan Thomas is Associate Professor, School of Communication and Arts, University of Queensland, Australia. His research focusses on media and religion, the political economy of communications, the media in India, and communications for social change. Thomas has written extensively in these areas in all the leading journals in the field, including the Journal of Communications and Communication Theory. He has authored nine books and edited numerous others.
