Biology teaching is characterized by observation and experimentation. However, some phenomena and reactions remain difficult to realize in reality, or even impossible. In this perspective, numerical simulations prove to be a good means of schematizing complex processes. However, the integration of these new technologies in the teaching of biology is confronted with numerous problems, including the false representations that they could induce in the learner. This book is the result of many years of research on the contribution, the challenges and the limits of digital technology in biology teaching.
