The author was born in South Africa. She has travelled in Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, China and the Middle East and has lived in Bangkok, Shanghai, and Dubai. While exploring the unique beauty of each new destination, Lianne has come to the realization that there is a connectedness between all people. Regardless of background and geographical differences, people have the same wishes and dreams. We are far more similar than what we could ever imagine, and the great unifying force is of course Love! Lianne holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of South Africa and is a certified Louise Hay, "Heal your Life" Facilitator. She is also a reflexologist and firm believer in the healing power of touch. She has a special love for animals and the natural world and believes that we have the ability to communicate with all living beings! At the time of writing this book, Lianne lived on the beautiful Jumeirah Palm Island in Dubai. The park under the Monorail, and the little creatures she encountered while out walking early every morning, were the source of inspiration for this book. She will tell you, no matter where you are, there is always magic. All it takes is a loving heart to see that anything is possible and that the world is indeed a magical place!
