Ray Dillman es actualmente un Mayor en el Ejército de los Estados Unidos y enseña inglés en la Academia Militar de los Estados Unidos en West Point. Antes de su asignación en West Point, obtuvo una Maestría en Literatura de la Universidad de Auburn y sirvió en numerosas asignaciones de Infantería y Operaciones Especiales.
