"She told them to look for little signs, like dimes on a sidewalk, to know they were not alone." Following the death of her husband, Robyn Lane finds herself stuck in the transition from "we" to "me." Navigating as one in a world built for two proves troublesome as she discovers just how deeply and lovingly her identity is tied to Mark, now departed. Compounding the difficulty are the recent losses of both her father and brother, driving Robyn to begin a desperate search for meaning, comfort, sanity, and sense in a world that seems to have none. Her quest leads us through a powerful session with a horse therapist, a treasure hunt for the secret ingredient to her grandmother's best recipe, even a bet to make a humorless junkyard caretaker smile-all while offering sensitive and intelligent insight from a woman who learns about how letting go can also lead to awakening, discovery, and ultimately, renewal.
