Autorenporträt
Paul Stickland is the hugely talented author, illustrator, and pop-up book engineer renowned for his colorful dinosaurs and tremendous trucks. Paul has had a long and illustrious career working on many different projects, but he is best known for his children’s books, most notably as the illustrator of the modern classic Dinosaur Roar!. Paul’s children’s books also include Ten Terrible Dinosaurs; Swamp Stomp!; A Number of Dinosaurs; One Bear, One Dog; The Christmas Bear; and many more. Inspired by his artist and illustrator grandfather, Geoffrey Squire, and his very creative parents, Paul has always loved working with children and is a passionate advocate for exploring children’s creativity through picture and pop-up books. He is always looking into new projects and is particularly interested in using the techniques of paper folding and pop-up technology in different disciplines outside the publishing world. Paul lives in Sherborne, Dorset, with his bookseller and musician wife and their daughter, with constant visits from Paul’s five creative and musical sons.
