Davin Holen es actualmente un Especialista en Recursos de Subsistencia en la División de Subsistencia del Departamento de Pesca y Caza de Alaska. Además, es candidato al doctorado en el Departamento de Antropología de la Universidad de Alaska Fairbanks y enseña antropología en el campus Mat-Su de la Universidad de Alaska Anchorage.
