Many new developments have occurred in aesthetic restorative dentistry for children in recent years. One must develop a clear understanding of the unique features, strengths, weaknesses, and requirements of each material available to be able to apply the right material to the right situation in paediatric patients. Continued development of the existing materials will make them more user- friendly, cost-effective with improved properties.
