Disasters and their management are today central to public and political agendas. Kristian Cedervall Lauta is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He is the Deputy Principal Investigator on the University of Copenhagen's 2016 programme for excellence interdisciplinary research project 'Changing Disasters'; and a founding member of the Copenhagen Center for Disaster Research - COPE.
