Autorenporträt
Louise lives with her husband in Whitwell, Derbyshire and together, for 25 years, they have fellowshipped and served the Lord within Ebenezer Gospel Hall in the neighbouring village of Killamarsh. They have been actively involved in outreaches and church activities but Louise has always loved the fellowship of bible studies and it was one such study group with her neighbours that inspired 'Discovering Genesis' written prior to 'Discovering Matthew'. Louise has also worked for 33 years as an occupational therapist in mental health, currently working part time in one of the local community mental health teams. She loves her work and never ceases to be inspired by her patients, assisting them to manage and recover from severe and enduring mental health problems. Louise was born into a Christian family, the fourth of six children to farming parents and gave her life to Christ at the tender age of seven. Kneeling on the lino floor by her bed, she asked God to forgive her sin because Jesus died for her, and prayed that the Lord Jesus would become her 'Good Shepherd' and lead her into 'new pastures'. He has honoured her prayer with forgiveness and blessed her with a wonderful husband and three, now adult, children - Joseph, Eleanor and David. They are a constant source of joy and spiritual inspiration and have played a vital role in the development and editing of these studies.
