Love your neighbor as you love yourself. Sounds simple, right? Our technology-flooded environment has created a generation of people with limited relational experience and a fear of face-to-face connection. Meeting new people and forming deep, personal bonds has become challenging, to say the least. Yet at the heart of every man, woman, and child is the need for relationships with people who love them for who they are. Discussions for Better Relationships is a study guide based on Dan Chrystal's The Lost Art of Relationship, designed specifically for people who want to know how to have better friendships and how to relate to the people in their lives. This 8-week discussion guide walks through eight essential relationship art forms:The Art of Forgiveness The Art of Encouragement The Art of Vulnerability The Art of Unity The Art of Humility The Art of Friendship The Art of Community The Art of the Question Each week includes discussion questions, Scriptures, application challenges, and guided prayer. The discussions themselves will challenge, instruct, and develop these all-important relational aspects. Group members may benefit from having a copy of The Lost Art of Relationship but it is not required. Now churches, friends, and families can focus on developing healthy relationships by talking about these essentials and putting them into practice at the most foundational level. Soon you'll experience relationships like never before and see what loving your neighbor as yourself really looks like. Isn't that what we all want?
