El Prof. Dr. Wafaa Abd El-Ghany obtuvo un doctorado en enfermedades avícolas en la Universidad de El Cairo en 2004, un máster en ciencias de la Universidad de El Cairo en 2000 y una licenciatura en ciencias veterinarias en la Universidad de El Cairo en 1996. Actualmente trabaja como profesora de enfermedades avícolas en la Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria de la Universidad de El Cairo.
