Produktbeschreibung
This monograph includes various types of ear pathology, united by the common localization of pathological changes in the area of the external auditory canal, the auricle and the structures of the middle ear.Risk factors for the development of external otitis: eczema (allergy), cerumen, congenital narrowness of the ear canals, chronic otitis media, immunodeficiency conditions, diabetes, wearing hearing aids, players. The most typical manifestations of inflammation of the outer ear are pain on palpation of the auricle or tragus , spontaneous pain in the ear, itching in the ear (with fungal infection, eczema), swelling and hyperemia of the skin of the ear, enlarged lymph nodes in the ear area, a feeling of congestion in it, discharge from ear, hearing loss is usually minor. Inflammatory diseases of the outer and middle ear are still very common in otorhinolaryngological practice, despite a fairly large arsenal of modern treatment methods. This is due to the polyethological nature ofthese diseases, the irrational use of medicines, primarily antibiotics, as well as adverse environmental factors.
