The manifestation of reparative osteogenesis disorders in the form of delayed consolidation of fractures, formation of pseudarthroses and bone defects requires long-term treatment using a complex set of surgical interventions, and a satisfactory result is not always achieved. The study of reparative osteogenesis disorders in bone injuries, osteotomies, bone grafting, and the use of various types of osteosynthesis is one of the topical problems of modern traumatology and orthopaedics. In clinical practice we often encounter various osteorepairing disorders and, therefore, the question of prediction and early detection of osteogenesis disorders remains topical. The book presents and substantiates algorithms for identifying groups of patients with risk factors for osteogenesis disorders, develops methods for early objective diagnosis of consolidation disorders, which allows an early start of effective treatment and either significantly reduces treatment time for this group of patients or prevents the development of such severe complications as delayed consolidation and pseudarthrosis.
