The nervous system refers to a sophisticated and complicated system, which controls and coordinates physiological functions. It is divided into two major parts, namely, the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system. Central nervous system consists of the spinal cord and brain. Peripheral nervous system majorly consists of all other neural elements such as autonomic nerves and peripheral nerves. The symptoms can differ from individual to individual but may include memory loss, tremors and seizures, muscle wasting and slurred speech, muscle rigidity, impaired mental ability, loss of feeling or tingling, and lack of coordination.
