Cerebral pathology occupies a significant place among the causes of morbidity, mortality, long-term disability of modern man, a decrease in his intellectual potential, up to dementia, personality degradation and death, usually premature.Despite the great achievements of recent years in the study of the pathogenesis of the development of methods for treating acute cerebrovascular accidents (ACVA), strokes remain a serious human pathology. The urgency of the problem of stroke is associated not only with the severity of the course, high mortality and disability of patients, but also with the increase in the incidence and rejuvenation of strokes. A new direction in the development of pharmaceuticals, apparently, should be considered the creation of a special class of effective drugs that directly regulate the synthesis of endothelial NO and thereby directly improve endothelial function. Endothelial dysfunction, as the earliest phase of vascular damage, is associated primarily with a deficiency of NO synthesis, on which structural changes in the vascular wall depend - such studies are also rare.
