Sunflower with high oil yield per unit area have emerged major oilseed crop and have the potential to reduce the gap between production and utilization of edible oil.

Author is interested to work on oil seed cropsespecially in Sunflower.His research focus is onevaluation of Sunflower Hybrids foradaptability,resistance to insect/pests and diseasesand oil quality. Recently,co-authors Dr.Ejaz AhmadKhan and Ghazanfar Ali Sadozi are also engaged in researchservices of oil seed crops to M.Sc and PhD students.
