Moving one step ahead Role of Librarians in the age MOOC is most searched area of research in recent few years. The study focuses on knowing the Indian Scenario and changed role of libraries with the inception of Correspondence courses in various universities to distance learning programmes and role of Libraries thereby in Pune region of Maharashtra State of India. Its a short survey of five university library services based on number of visits and observation using Interview technique. S.P.Pune University has funded this small project conducted for the periodof one year and Results say that with the upcoming 'Digital India' Concept Distance education and MOOC's are going to be the need of hour which must be studied from Library service perspective.
