Licenciado en Ciencias Biológicas, máster en Ecología, trabajó con la ecología de los oligoelementos y posteriormente con la Educación Ambiental. Doctor en Ciencias de la Educación, coordina el curso de licenciatura en Ciencias Biológicas a distancia en la Universidad Federal de Paraíba (UFPb), y también imparte varias asignaturas en este curso.
