This book explores the perceptions and practices of school leaders about the distributed leadership while looking at nature of roles distribution and decision making processes in a private secondary school in Karachi Pakistan. This book sought an acknowledgement as the first of its kind in the context of private schools in Pakistan which would contribute to the improvement of schools by identifying the leadership roles among multiple leaders to achieve the common goals. Furthermore, it may also contribute to the development of a healthy working relationship among all stakeholders of schools. This book is significant for school leaders as it may help them in promoting their reflective thinking. It may provide them the opportunity to critically examine their leadership and management practices in order to make school governance more effective. It may also help school leadership to build an understanding to enhance more decentralized decision making process in order to improve the schools and organizations.
