We have addressed the possibility of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in this book in order to demonstrate to what extent this is possible for the DRCongo. In this perspective, we have clarified the central issue of economic diversification and inclusive growth through an empirical analysis whose results (starting from the 3 sectors of the economy compared to the human development index) demonstrate the paralysis of the Congolese economy. At the end of this research, we have found that several vices represent obstacles to sustainable development. From the political, economic and social will, we discovered that only the service sector has the power to boost sustainable development in the economic context described here. Therefore, knowing that the Congolese economy is based on the extractive sector and that only the service sector has the potential for sustainable development, we have submitted proposals in this sense to diversify the economy by influencing the service sector on the whole economy. This will enable a significant shift towards the achievement of the SDGs by 2030 as a means of achieving the MDGs.
