Seven river system of the country provides excellent place for water bird survival including winter migratory birds. Wet land above 3000 msl are also common habitat for water birds. So far one endangered, three Vulnerable and two are near threatened as per Central Asia Fly way Action Plan out of 106 water birds of the country.
