Insertion and inclusion are two different concepts. A company that complies with the Quotas Act ensures that a person with a disability only has access to one job opportunity. But inclusion goes beyond this and opens perspectives for those whose job opportunities are substantially limited due to their disability. The speech of support to diversity must leave the values stamped in the companies' websites to become part of the culture lived in the workers' day-to-day life. Only then can we move from mere compliance with formal legislation to a fair and responsible practice in the world of work.
