Coccinellids play significant role as bio control agent both at their larval and adult stages on several prey species particularly aphid, coccids and many other soft bodied insects, which damage maize, canola, wheat, forage crop canary seed (or canary grass), peas, flax, apples, alfalfa and potatoes. Exploration into the potential implement of predatory insects or mites to control aphid pests received more attention, because biological control is considered environment friendly or decline of chemical damages to the environment. In order to utilize these beneficial insects to find out their diversity in an agro ecosystem is the most important phenomenon. This book has 6 chapters, 1st is for the introduction, 2nd reviews the literature, third covers the materials and methods used for the study, fourth describes the results and the 5th summarizes the whole book. In this book we made an effort to explore the diversity of different Coccinellids that are present in fertile region of central Punjab, Pakistan. This book would also help the people working on the taxonomy of Coccinellids, students studying about them and the researchers working on bio control methodologies.
