Pof. Balasaheb G. Kulkarni has 33 years of teaching biological oceanography to post graduate students at the Institute of Science, Mumbai. He published many  research papers on various aspects of coastal ecology in International & national journals. His research interest includes coastal biodiversity, ecology, pollution, aquaculture & marine drugs.
