Autorenporträt
Marisa Taylor lives in London, UK with her husband and two daughters. They are a mixed Jamaican, Canadian & German family. London has a diverse range of people, cultures & ethnic backgrounds. However, she still found it difficult to find books that reflect the amazing city and represent children from all over. She is passionate about learning & teaching languages as it is a key element to connecting with people from other cultures. Her desire is to inspire and motivate parents and children from all nationalities & backgrounds to love who they are and be happy within. Marisa speaks German and Spanish to her children and wanted to create a bilingual series of her book¿happy within¿, with the aim of helping her children improve their language skills, as well as help other families learn another language together.
