Carol Hazelwood graduated from the University of California in Criminology and lives in Palm Desert, located in southern California. In 1986 she revitalized the Newport Beach Literacy Program. She has traveled extensively and remains close to friends in Germany. Her interest in research is a necessity for her novels. She enjoys swimming, playing Bocce, and participates in a women's golf putting organization. A Writers Club in the community where she lives allows her to interact with authors of all genres. She's a widow with three married sons, four grandchildren, and two great grandsons. Writing is her passion and her joy.
