Ken Ungerecht was born and raised in the lake country of northern Minnesota. He has taught high biology, chemistry, and physics. He currently resides in Northome, Minnesota, where he has retired from a career in engineer and training representative in the field of electronic communications. Among his many interests has been a lifelong passion to learn and understand more about the possible spiritual aspects of the human condition.
