A well-educated teacher in Cyprus, she didn't even know the language of her new country. This is her story of how God provided victory beyond her expectations. He led her to a Billy Graham crusade, a Baptist church in her neighborhood for Bible study (being Greek Orthodox, Protestant churches had seemed impossible!!), the realization at age 50 -- against all advice -- of her childhood dream of becoming a nurse, an award-winning 25-year nursing career which included writing many published articles and poems, and, after retirement at age 75, several other ministries. At journey's end, she has returned to the Greek Orthodox Church, "where I belong and where the first seeds of faith in Christ had been planted in me."
