Although this research showed that parenting styles may be slightly more significant, the author provided a model from which future research should be based.

In addition to being a college professor, Dr. Myers is a former Police Chief for a small city south of Chicago, and has held many positions with the Office of Executive Inspector General and the U.S. Department of State. Dr. Myers has an Ed.D. in Leadership, an M.S. in Criminal Justice, an M.A. in Diplomacy, and a B.S. in Management.
