Autorenporträt
Ken Gordon is a father, husband, and author who has spent many Saturdays enjoying yummy ice cream with his children.Ken, and his wife Leslie, have four "adulting" children, two beautiful grandchildren, and cockapoo. Now that their children no longer live at home, Ken makes yummy ice cream treats for Leslie, who favorite flavor is Butter Pecan.Writing a children's series was Leslie's idea, which she presented to Ken one Saturday morning. The idea of writing a book about a dad enjoying ice cream with his family brought back wonderful memories from Ken's own childhood. It was these lasting memories that inspired Ken to write a book, encouraging dads to spend time creating wonderful memories for their own families.Additionally, Ken believes fathers should spend time engaging with the children and not just being present. Whether it is at the ice cream parlor, in the kitchen, at the dining room table, or playing games, a dad should spend time and create lasting memories for his children, as Ken did for his, and as Ken's dad did for him.
