As it is observed, the young people finish the formal formation, many of them lack employment and few of them find very less paid jobs. For these reasons, the young people develop behaviors, attitudes differentiated and adopt practices of activities related to the resources to have the incomes that can be useful to them in the life before the professional insertion or during the professional life. Thus, among the activities that young people do is observed the DIY. Hence, this study seeks to determine the link between DIY and access to employment by taking into account certain characteristics specific to young people such as gender, age, marital status, levels of education of young people, length of time in the labour market and additional studies to determine the level of DIY practices of young people and finally to make a comparison between employed young people compared to young people employed in DIY practices. This study resulted in 4 major findings which among them a level of DIY practice of (70, 78368%) and a positive relationship between DIY and access to employment of youth.
